Reading about prophecy and tongues is always interesting. I gots to find a commentary.
So.
I didn’t want to be the first to really comment on this one, cuz there’s just so much you could talk about. But here goes.
One part that really hit me was 12:7…I think that God has been putting this verse in my path constantly over the past few months – but where am I supposed to go with this? Not sure, but it’s made pretty clear here that serving God by using your gifts to build up the body is not optional.
12:22-26 was really interesting to me – the verses and the commentary I read. I read each several times. Seems to me you could preach a pretty good sermon just on those few verses.
The parts we’re embarrassed of, we treat with special dignity/honour…how true is this in how we treat the members of Christ’s body?
